For years the most valuable brand on the planet Apple releases a new series of iPhones every year with immense innovations in the technological industry. In this year Apple has introduced its new sixteenth generation of smart phone named iPhone 16, keeping itself on track to explore more and more limits of mobile communications. In this article, which I wrote, we are going to look at the main components and additions to the current iPhone models starting with the standard iPhone 16 and continuing with the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max.
iPhone 16 & iPhone 16 Plus
As the current generation phones Apple has released the iPhone 16 as part of its iPhone line of smartphones. The iPhone 16 has an availability of different and invigorating colors as compared to the previous models, which gives the users a richer sense of aesthetic appeal.

Wirelessly, it has Bluetooth 5 support with both models. 3 and Wi-Fi 7. iPhone 16 cost $799 for the 128 GB version and iPhone 16 Plus is available at $899 for 128 GB model.
iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max
iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are the flagship models of the latest Apple’s offering with larger screen size and enhancements. The iPhone 16 Pro has its screen size at 6 inches. 3-inch screen and the Pro Max comes with a 6. Extended diagonally of the front sided display reaching 9 inches in size, which is compared to the iPhone 15 Pro models, only slightly larger. They are sleek and compact with a titanium construction which makes the devices light but strong; the colours include black titanium, white titanium, natural titanium and desert titanium. Apple has also been quick to add that the iPhone 16 Pro Max is powered by what it described as ‘the best battery life in iPhone history.
The iPhone 16 Pro comes with the storage capacity that ranges from 128 to 1,192GB while iPhone iPhone 16 Pro Max starts from 256 and goes up. The iPhone 16 Pro measures 199 grams, while in the iPhone 16 Pro Max, it comes to 227 grams. As with the standard models, both wearables support Bluetooth 5. 3, Wi-Fi 7, and rating of IP68 to water resistance.
The Pro models run on the new A18 Pro chip, feature a 16-core neural engine that will help to boost AI-based elements such as Apple Intelligence. It is 15% faster than the A17 Pro that was used in the previous generation and the six-core GPU is 20% better suited for mobile gaming and features in augmented reality.
The iPhone 16 Pro also receives a 48-megapixel ‘Fusion’ camera, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, because of the innovative tetraprism design which is first seen in the iPhone 15 Pro Max design only. The iPhone 16 models include the camera control button for more precise control; Apple plans to bring a two-stage shutter mechanism to this button via a software update.
Enhanced Photography and AI Capabilities
Apple is not ready to let go of photography and videography features in particular with the incorporation of new photo styles that can be edited on a picture after snap. The iPhone 16 Pro also has a 4K video recording at 120FPS and playback speed adjustments are available in the Photos app.
Four studio-quality microphones have also been added to the design and they are useful in recording sounds in an immersive manner. In the case of capturing spatial video, users can also capture spatial audio, hence giving a magical touch to the video being captured and to be watched.
